(The Lyfe News) The former Tennessee and WNBA star Chamique Holdsclaw has pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, and trying to shoot her ex-girlfriend and WNBA player Jennifer Lacy in a car last November.
Holdsclaw was arrested last year for bashing out Lacy’s car windows, and firing a gun into the car while Lacey was inside the vehicle.
She had previously pled not guilty back in March, even though the incident happened in broad daylight, and there were several witnesses.
This time Holdsclaw pled guilty to 2 counts of aggravated assault, 1 count of illegal firearm possession, and 4 counts of criminal damage.
Although, she won’t spend jail time. Holdsclaw received a $3,000 fine, 3 years’ probation, and can’t own or possess a gun for the next 3 years.
She can’t have any contact with Lacy and must complete anger management, along with 120 hours of community service.
